Hello good patrons of The Governor's Inn!

We hope that you are well.  We miss you and can't wait to reopen after after May 4!  We are busy making improvements, rescheduling dates and booking new special events.  We are offering TAKE AWAY dinner Thurs.-Sun. 5-8pm (call 332-0107 after 3pm).  You can book a room online anytime for hotel rooms after May 4.  Otherwise the best way to contact us is via email: Info@governorsinn.com

We thank you for your patience and support in these times and we really look forward to seeing you here soon!

For those of you whose Murder Mystery date
got cancelled due to the Pandemic:

We are close to announcing dates of the next Murder Mystery which we hope you will be able to attend.  Applying your tickets to new dates will be very easy, once we start the process.   We expect to re-open the Inn in accordane with NH State protocal as soon as it is announce.   Once we reopen, with front office staff again, we will be able to predict and do a lot more.

We also want to let you know that our ticket processor - BROWN PAPER TICKETS - mismanaged the Murder Mystery ticket funds.   This online agency that the Inn worked with for many years became overwhelmed with cancellations nationwide and started bouncing performance checks to show producers like The Governor's Inn.   BPT is regrouping, but they still have ALL ticket money to pay the Inn for eight (8) shows that happened in Feb. & March.  And they have all of YOUR money for shows that did NOT happen in March and April.  They are supposed to refund you for tickets you bought with them, but they are not responding.  It's a mess.

Here at The Governor's Inn, however, we have been a rock solid and leading part of the community for nearly 30 years, under the same management and ownership, and we look forward to serving you great hospitality and entertainment for many years to come.

In the meantime we ask for your patience as hope that you will have the opportunity to be part of our next murder mystery which will start in January and run through April.

It's interesting, for decades The Governor's Inn has been asked for and has generously donated to hundreds of local causes.  Now we find ourselves humbly asking you - our dear patrons - to please:

- Purchase gift certificates, you'll be able to use them later for Spaulding Steak & Ale, The Garage, the hotel or entertainment.

- Not cancel a birthday party, anniversary or any special event you may have booked with us.  We'd be happy to reschedule the event.  Ditto for overnight accommodations.

Recommend the Inn to your friends and contacts as the place you may have come to for great times for almost 30 years.  Writing a great review on Google, Yelp or Trip Advisor would be so great of you!

Start thinking of booking and planning to host an exceptional special event in the year ahead.   Everyone will want to celebrate moving on at some point, so let us use our experience and amazing facility to make it rock!

Above all please stand with us ... we are local, we've been here for you, and we are The Governor's Inn - the heart and soul of Rochester.
Our motto remains the same: "Uplifting the community through excellence in hospitality and entertainment."

And just for now, our front desk is only intermittently staffed, so the best way to contact us is by email, at Info@governorsinn.com

Thanks again, be well and safe,
- Anthony, Herman, and Lisa
