The Governor's Inn
25 Year Anniversary Party

Governor’s Inn Celebrates 25 Years!

It’s been 25 years since The Governor’s Inn opened in May, 1992.
A lot has happened in that long ride, and the Inn is inviting friends and guests to celebrate in a long day of fun and music on Saturday, May 20.

Festivities will include two bands – with free performances from two different stages – as well as food and drink concessions available and some fun and games thrown in to add to the fun.   The entertainment begins at 3pm with The New England Bluegrass Band (NEbB), musicians that have performed annually at the Inn for the Summer Music Series for 15 years.   NEbB will play from 3 to 6 pm on the Inn’s courtyard stage, adjacent to The Governor’s Ballroom and the Inn’s Spaulding Steak & Ale restaurant.

Garden games will add to the fun all afternoon with horseshoes, corn hole and can-jam.   There will also be many free prizes and giveaways.   The live music continues into the evening when the band Bad Penny takes the Garage Stage by force with it’s classic rock show.   Food and drinks will be available from the Garage restaurant that evening.  Bad Penny will play from 7 to 10pm.

The Governor's Inn opened in May of 1992 as a five-room Bed and Breakfast serving dinner on Saturday evenings only.   In 2000 the Inn acquired the Rolland Spaulding Estate next door and boosted its capacity to ten special event rooms, 20 overnight guest rooms,  and later to two restaurants.   Under the continued management of the Ejarque family, the Governor's strives takes great pride in providing its guests with freindly servie, great food, lodging and live entertainment.  The Inn's motto is 'Uplifting the community with exceptional hospitality and entertainment.'
