Want to act? AUDITIONS for the 18th annual interactive Murder Mystery Dinner theater take place on Monday Oct. 13 at 6:00 pm at The Governor’s Inn.
Versatile actors are sought that can sing, move and
are comfortable with improvisation.
Also seeking several actors interested in taking on some smaller roles
(singing/dancing not required).
Actors should be prepared with a short comedic monologue and be prepared to do some improvisational exercises as well as sing a cappella.
No appointment needed.  Sign up begins at 5:00pm.
The show rehearses in late December and January and is scheduled to run for seven weeks:
Feb. 5 - March 21.


 

Ever popular to the extreme, murder mysteries at the Governor's Inn are no small affair — with a cast of 12 actors who sing and dance, live music, a big stage, various set locations during a raucous house tour, and a five-course dinner, this show is not only delicious and spectacular but chock full of scandal, intrigue, and laughs.

The evening will begin as guests are welcomed into the Governor's Inn ballroom and onto the elaborate television set of the show by the costumed cast and directed to the hors d'ouerves.  Seating is in group tables of 10, set for an elegant dinner.  The show will begins with a grand musical number featuring a dozen outlandish characters.  Soon enough a murder takes place … the audience then gets its turn at the fun, beginning with a rollicking house tour of the Inn — five Vegas-styled scenes with lots of food, drink, and audience participation.

With something for everyone and boredom to none, a Murder Mystery dinner at the Governor's Inn stays super lively all evening with lots of song, dance, mystery, audience participation and outrageous fun. Those clever enough to figure out "Who Dunnit" win a prize!
