A relaxed, gourmet evening with incredible food & wine!
A seasoned wine expert – Jimmy Vickers – will be your host and educator of all things viniferous that evening. Seating will be in the Inn’s small but elegant, fireside Parlour room. Governor’s Inn chef Marlo Perl will be cooking delicious food including seared scallops, fillet mignon and poached pear.
The evening starts with of Stuffed Mushrooms and Shrimp Cocktail, served with a starter flute of sparkling wine. The salad to be served will be fresh baby greens with goat cheese, pistachios and dried cranberries with basil vinaigrette, paired with a delicious Riesling. The third course will be seared scallops with cilantro corn cake, served with a light Chateau Sourvain Merlot. The featured entrée will be Filet Mignon Medallion with Bordelaise sauce served with fingerling potatoes and honey glazed French carrots, served with StoryPoint Cabernet Sauvignon. Dessert will be Poached Pear with Crème Englaise, served with a Spanish sparkling Cava: Clos Amador, Reserva Brut.
This event has very limited seating. Tickets are $50 per person, plus tax and 20% gratuity, and are available by calling the Inn at 332-0107.
